Paton Calvert has been appointed sole UK distributor for Hega, the Spanish producer of quality plastic household products.
The Hega lines – which are chiefly food storage, lunch boxes and garden products – will sit alongside Paton Calvert’s existing collections of bakeware.
Hega operates out of a 25,000sq m factory which can produce 360,000 pieces per day, and Paton Calvert says it is a design-led company with strong environmental strategies. Many of its products have not been seen in the UK before, and Paton Calvert will be offering some of these at Exclusively Housewares next month.
The logistics of the new operation will be handled by The Pickit and Packit Factory in Burton on Trent and will provide next-day service to all sections of the market.
