In celebration of Pyrex’s milestone 100-year anniversary in 2015, Pyrex has launched a limited edition version of its best-selling product: the 0.5 litre Classic glass measuring jug.
The housewares supplier said: “The existing Pyrex jug collection has become a staple product in British kitchens and the new centenary jug is no exception. In celebration of the brand’s 100 year heritage, the Pyrex centenary logo has been added to the limited edition 0.5 litre glass measuring jug. Each product will also be accompanied by a vintage style label providing further details about the brand, which is now synonymous with British kitchens.
“As well as offering a practical addition to any kitchen, the new centenary jug provides an opportunity for avid Pyrex fans to celebrate this important milestone for the brand and own a collector’s edition of the product, which can be handed down from generation to generation thanks to the superior quality borosilicate glass.”
The centenary jug, which has an RRP of £6.99, can be used for measuring, preparing and storing hot or cold liquids. It can withstand temperatures as low as -40deg C and as high as 300deg C and is able to endure temperature variations of up to 220deg C. Microwave-, fridge-, freezer- and dishwasher-safe and stain-resistant, it joins Pyrex’s collection of glassware products, which offer a 10 year guarantee.
