After 37 years at Western House John Chappell retires at the end of this month.

Retirement for Western House’s John Chappell

He joined the company in 1972, and moved from London to Basingstoke when the company relocated to its purpose-built site in 1974.

Chappell has held many positions within the company over the years, but was latterly product & marketing coordinator.

Western House’s CEO Gordon South, said: “John has been a resourceful and stalwart member of the Western Team for so long it will be different without him. He will be missed for his lively sense of humour and vast experience.”

Chappell intends to spend more time on the golf course and with his two granddaughters.
