Roald Dahl licence deal for Creative Tops

Creative Tops has signed a major licence with the Roald Dahl Literary Estate and has revealed that homeware products are currently in the design process.

The new Roald Dahl collection is aimed at children and adults alike. Products feature illustrations from the author of children’s stories ‘The BFG’, ‘Charlie and the Chocolate Factory’ and ‘Matilda’, and are paired with quotes from the books. The range is set to launch for Autumn/Winter 2017.

Creative Tops said: ‘Popping with colour, our designs will create a vivid and distinctive collection that perfectly captures the imagination and wit that makes these stories a national treasure as well as globally adored’.

Last year the Roald Dahl Literary Estate celebrated 100 years since Roald Dahl’s birth and saw book sales rise by 86%, as well as a 113% increase in merchandise sales. One of Roald Dahl’s books is sold globally every five seconds.
