Russell Hobbs collaborates with Emma Bridgewater on two ranges

Small electricals supplier Russell Hobbs has joined forces with pottery manufacturer Emma Bridgewater to create two new breakfast collections.

The Russell Hobbs and Emma Bridgewater ranges will feature Emma Bridgewater’s Polka Dot and Toast & Marmalade patterns on two-slice (£69.99) and four-slice (£79.99) toasters, as well as 1.7L and 1.5L kettles (£79.99).

The collection will be available to buy from Emma Bridgewater shops, emmabridgewater.co.uk and other select retailers from August 15.

Emma Bridgewater has also created a limited-edition half-pint mug to celebrate the collaboration. Retailing for £19.95, the design features a sponge pattern with kettles and teapots in polka dot colours.

Russell Hobbs marketing manager Dominic Lewis commented: “We wanted to work with a partner who shares our passion for quality, design and craftsmanship to inject style and beauty into the nation’s kitchens, and we know people will be very excited about it!

“We’ve added the iconic and endearing Emma Bridgewater British style to the breakfast ranges to make every mug of tea and slice of toast more enjoyable. The collaboration will mark the start of a new relationship with Emma Bridgewater, and a very exciting future for kitchen appliances to take pride of place in the heart of the home.”

Emma Bridgewater added: “We’re thrilled to partner with Russell Hobbs, a company known for its quality and sturdiness, whose appliances are well-loved and hold an essential place in British kitchens.

“In making a lifetime’s worth of pots of tea, I’ve boiled water in an array of kettles, and it’s probably fair to say that the kettle I turn to most often is a reliable electric one made by Russell Hobbs. Of course, I do usually drink that tea out of an Emma Bridgewater mug!

“It has been immensely rewarding to translate our classic pottery pattern designs onto kettles and toasters with Polka Dot and Toast & Marmalade. I hope customers enjoy their breakfast toast and tea from these cheerful appliances.”
