‘Saturday Kitchen’ teams up with online retailer

Online fine food retailer Farmison & Co has paired up with hit TV show ‘Saturday Kitchen’ to offer exclusive recipe boxes, created by some of the world’s top chefs, delivered monthly to foodies’ front doors.

The retailer is offering foodies the chance to cook alongside the weekend food show’s top chefs with monthly deliveries -or a one-off gift – of official Saturday Kitchen boxes, packed with fine food and recipe cards from the likes of Raymond Blanc, Ken Hom, Mark Hix, Tom Kerridge and Angela Hartnett.

Each Saturday Kitchen chilled recipe box contains the core ingredients for three recipes as cooked on the TV show (barring home pantry essentials), delivered anywhere in the UK (excluding Highlands and Islands).

Saturday Kitchen’s executive producer Amanda Ross said: “It’s great to be able to offer viewers, no matter where they are, the chance to get hold of the best possible produce. We always use the best we can find on Saturday Kitchen and now it will be easy for the viewers to get the same quality of produce to make the dishes as good as our star chefs.”

Farmison & Co was co-founded by former restaurateur John Pallagi and Lee Simmonds, with the aim to make it easier for shoppers to browse and buy great produce from small producers, previously only available to restaurateurs.

“The best chefs use the best ingredients, and we’ve always been committed to getting these kinds of foods from the UK’s best, small producers delivered direct to home cooks’ kitchens,” said John Pallagi.

“Now, for the first time, Saturday Kitchen fans can watch their favourite chefs on TV and then cook these meals in their own homes – it’s a deliciously new way of cooking!”
