Space NK founder joins Debenhams board

Nicky Kinnaird, the founder of speciality beauty retailer Space NK, has joined the Debenhams board as a non-executive director.

Debenhams chairman Sir Ian Cheshire commented: “We’re very pleased that Nicky is joining the board. She brings a wealth of experience and understanding in brand development and the global beauty industry.

“Her knowledge and expertise will be invaluable as Debenhams embarks on the next stage of its development under new leadership.”

She founded Space NK in 1993. Following the sale of the business in 2014, she founded Nicky Kinnaird Consultancy and now consults for an international roster of clients in the beauty, wellness and lifestyle sectors.
