King’s Lynn cookshop Cook To Perfection is set to gain plenty of valuable publicity in the run-up to Christmas by sponsoring its local pantomime.

Cinderella will run at the town’s Corn Exchange from December 8 to January 3, with 44 performances in total. It is the first time the annual panto has had a sponsor.

“As part of the sponsorship deal we’re receiving multimedia exposure, including billboards, posters, radio advertising, car park vinyls etc,” Cook To Perfection director Mel Done told HousewaresLive.net.

“We will also have a scripted endorsement in all 44 performances and a page in the programme. We hope to take a proactive role too by creating displays in store and by getting involved where possible.”

She added her thanks to Kitchen Craft, which has donated 100 Let’s Make Fairy Cookie Cutters for the children’s goodie bags given out to those called up on stage.

Look out for Mel Done’s new Diary of a Cookshop column which launches in the October issue of Housewares Magazine.
