Squires Kitchen launches new baking magazine

Designed to capitalise on the phenomenal resurgence of home baking and crafting, a new magazine is set to hit the shelves next month.

Squires Kitchen launches new baking magazine

Called Squires Kitchen Bake School, it is being launched by SKMP, which is part of cake decorating and sugarcraft manufacturer Squires Kitchen. SKMP also publishes Cakes & Sugarcraft, Wedding Cakes – A Design Source, and Inspired by Food.

The new title is aimed at both budding and expert bakers and cake decorators, and will present inspiration from tutors at Squires Kitchen’s International School as well as other top names in the industry.

Cupcakes – still leading the way in the cake fashion stakes – will take centre stage in the first issue, with topics including classic, contemporary and allergen-free recipes for cupcakes and frostings, trade secrets and top tips, creative ideas for dressing up cupcakes and year-round ideas for every occasion, including Easter, weddings, summer holidays and Christmas.

Squires Kitchen Bake School will be published bi-annually. The launch issue has 160 pages, costs £5.99 and will be on sale from March 8 in WH Smith and Sainsbury’s as well as selected newsagents and squires-shop.com. It is also available for cookshops to retail.
