Housewares chain Steamer Trading Cookshop opens its 36th store tomorrow (Saturday November 7), in the market town of Hereford.
It joins two other outlets opened by the specialist retailer this year. A 2,200sq ft two-floor branch at Taunton in Somerset made its debut in June, followed by a 4,000sq ft two-floor unit at Harrogate in North Yorkshire which launched in August.
The address of the Hereford outlet is 3-4 Commercial Street, Hereford, HR1 2AJ, near the Maylord Orchards Shopping Centre. Situated on one floor, the store measures 3,000sq ft.
Last year saw the opening of Steamer Trading Cookshop’s first non-high street stores in Bluewater shopping centre and West Quay shopping centre in Southampton, while in 2013, it launched branches in Stamford, Northallerton and Glasgow (its first Scottish store).
The business celebrates its 30th birthday this year and managing director Ben Phillips said: “We are aiming to be at about 48 stores by the end of 2017.”
