Susie Watson Designs has launched a shop in the Kent town of Tunbridge Wells.
The two-storey, 2,000sq foot unit at 15 High Street showcases the supplier’s homeware including hand-decorated pottery, paints and handmade soft furnishings. All tableware will be stocked including the best-selling Oscar and Blackberry designs.
It features six room sets for the home, including the kitchen, dining room and living room. A made to measure curtain and furniture upholstery service is also available.
The shop opened for late night shopping on Thursday May 31 and a special opening offer of 15% off next purchases in the shop is being held in the first week.
The Tunbridge Wells store, which employs a team of seven, joins slightly smaller branches on Northcote Road in Battersea, London; and Alresford in Hampshire; plus a specialist fabric showroom at Marlborough in Wiltshire. There is also an outlet store at Minworth Trade Park in Sutton Coldfield.
It is part of an expansion plan which will see new shops opening in “key towns” in the south of England. Next on the list is Marlow.
