Talking Tables joins BHETA

Design-led party accessories supplier Talking Tables has joined the British Home Enhancement Trade Associaton (BHETA).

Talking Tables joins BHETA

Talking Tables was founded in 1999 by Claire Harris who spotted a gap in the market for themed party items, party games and table trivia that would literally ‘get the table talking’. The company now has a staff of 40 and includes John Lewis, Paperchase, Selfridges and Waitrose, as well as many independent retailers, in its customer base.

Talking Tables UK and international sales director Ben Andrews said: “After seeing the benefits of being a BHETA member in a previous company, I was very keen that this continued with Talking Tables. BHETA offers a fantastic way of sharing best practice with similar suppliers all dealing with the same retailers, and it’s great to share both positive things and challenges and benefit from the breadth of experience. The ‘Meet the Buyer’ days are also excellent and we’re already seeing new opportunities from our membership.”

BHETA’s home enhancement sector director Will Jones commented: “Talking Tables is a fast growing company based on innovation, creative thinking and customer understanding and we are delighted to have them on board.”
