Using a 20-second and 10-second ad mix, Tefal says the campaign aims to demonstrate the OptiGrill’s ‘unique capability to deliver superb grilling results from rare to well-done every time, guaranteeing restaurant quality steak at home whilst looking great on the kitchen worktop’.

The promotion will run nationally and will be broadcast on a wide range of TV channels including ITV1, C4, Five and Daybreak.

Groupe SEB marketing manager Dominik Pytel said: “The Tefal OptiGrill is the world’s first appliance to automatically measure the thickness of the meat and adjust cooking time to suit. Its patent pending technology even detects how many items are on the grill and adapts the temperature and grilling cycle accordingly. It really is like having professional grill chef at home!”

Last week the Tefal OptiGrill was announced as the winner of the small electricals category of The Housewares Innovation Awards 2014, organised by Housewares Magazine and www.HousewaresLive.net.
