Tesco is giving customers its biggest ever Black Friday event (November 28), offering discounts of up to 70% and anticipating that the event will surpass Boxing Day sales for the first time ever.
The supermarket chain’s Sale will include more than 200 electrical, entertainment, mobile, DIY products and children’s toys. Deals will include 70% off a leading branded coffee machine, 50% off a HD ready LED TV and significant discounts off gaming console bundles.
Tesco general merchandise director Rob Hattrell commented: “Black Friday now marks the real start of Christmas shopping and Tesco is recognising this with its Black Friday sale in-store and online.
“With our recent extension of our free Click & Collect service for non-food items to all 2,600 Tesco stores, customers can shop whenever they want, however they want and we expect that over two-thirds of those snapping up a Black Friday bargain online will choose a Click & Collect option for delivery.”
With over £15million of customer savings to be made over the three-day event, customers can access offers online, in all Tesco Extra stores and selected Tesco Superstores from 00:01 on Friday November 28.
