The Cookware Company announces licensing agreement with OXO

Zouhair Yahia, sales director at The Cookware Company, which designs, develops and manufactures cookware products, said: “The new collections have been built upon OXO’s philosophy of making everyday life easier and our extensive experience of cookware manufacturing. We’re thrilled by the quality of the new collections. Key features such as stay cool handles and smart shapes make each collection stand out and will be a sure fire hit with consumers looking to extend their range of OXO kitchen tools.”

David Titterington, UK sales manager at OXO, added: “Developing these new cookware collections is a natural extension for OXO. This license agreement is a significant development for the brand and sees OXO enter the cookware market with three equally strong ranges.

“The Cookware Company has embraced our thoughtful design philosophy and manufactured a number of collections that delivers on quality, style and innovation. We’re looking forward to seeing the reaction from the market and watching the range grow.”

The ranges will launch to the UK market at London trade show Exclusively Housewares from June 9-10. Products will be available to retailers from August with plans already in place to develop the range for Autumn/Winter 2015.

The Cookware Company will now be selling two totally separate brands to its UK customers: OXO and GreenPan.
