The Cotswold Company has launched a TV and BVOD campaign showcasing the quality credentials of its homeware range and handcrafted furniture, along with the life that goes on around it.
The TV ad is part of The Cotswold Company’s new brand platform, Made for Life, which was developed by the7stars and is based on The Cotswold Company’s brand values of quality, longevity and timeless style.
Jocelyn Dowden, Director of Marketing at The Cotswold Company, said: “Through our extensive research, we’ve discovered that customers appreciate The Cotswold Company for its high-quality, stylish furniture that is built to last. However, our brand is also about the life that unfolds around our furniture. Our brand platform, Made for Life, embodies this insight and served as the inspiration for creating this advertisement. It celebrates the simple yet beautiful rhythms of life, like a relaxing Sunday at home with close family.”
The 30-second film features a family enjoying their home life, and a journey from room to room. From waking in the bedroom, through to cooking in the kitchen, and then relaxing on the sofa, each room features The Cotswolds Company’s furniture, with the strapline, ‘Life is about the company you keep’.
The platform is supported by the findings of a bespoke market segmentation report conducted by the7stars which found that 66% of ‘Cotswold Considerers’ thought that it is worth investing in large furniture items which are designed to last a long time.

The brief for The Company You Keep meant that we simply had to hold a mirror up to the brand in a manner that reflects the customer and the longevity of the quality products in their lives.”
