The Housewares Conference gains Jura as sponsor

Jura has signed up as a sponsor of next year’s Housewares Conference, and says it is looking forward to the exposure that the event will give the company.

Head of marketing Roger Shuttleworth explained: “This is the first year we’ve been a sponsor since being the official distributors for Jura Household. Jura’s a super brand, a premium brand, and we’re looking to increasing our sales in 2009. We’ve got a lot of new things happening so we want to keep the momentum going.

“The people who will attend the conference are decision makers, and we need our brand to be seen by people who appreciate it and will talk about it and spread the word about it.”

The Housewares Conference will take place April 1 next year at the prestigious One Whitehall Place in London. It has signed up an inspirational line-up of speakers including Sir Terence Conran, the central buyer for homewares at Waitrose, Christian Haas, and Harrods home director David Miller.
