The Wine Show star Joe Fattorini will host tasting experience at Spring Fair

Wine expert Joe Fattorini, co-presenter of Channel 5’s ‘The Wine Show’, will be talking barware and hosting a tasting experience at the Spring Fair.

Joe will be on the Dutch Creative Brands stand in Hall 9 (B78-C79) from 11am to 4.30pm on Monday (February 5).

Known as International Innovation Company until January 2018, this family business introduced its first product in 1986: the Vacu Vin Vacuum Wine Saver. Today, the second generation of the family is taking the company to the next level with several new initiatives. In 2016, a kitchenware brand called Tomorrow’s Kitchen was launched to run alongside barware brand Vacu Vin.

New for 2018 is the addition of The Wine Show collection to the portfolio, which is endorsed by the TV series of the same name. Produced by Infinity Creative Media, series two of ‘The Wine Show’ is currently on screen, with episode four of seven airing tomorrow (Friday February 2) at 7pm. Dutch Creative Brands said: ‘Our range is the result of combining a great television concept with a brand that is great in wine accessories.’

The Wine Show collection comprises 14 wine accessories from the Vacu Vin brand that ‘allow you to open, pour, chill, serve and save your wine, thanks to the corkscrews, wine server crystals, wine coolers and the Vacu Vin Wine Saver’. There is also a set of four red or white Royal Leerdam wine glasses or, for the ultimate wine enthusiast, a 10-piece glassware and wine accessories set.

Joe commented: “We’re delighted for ‘The Wine Show’ to be associated with such a strong brand as Vacu Vin. With further shows planned and new products coming into the range, the partnership is certainly an exciting one.”

He will be available to talk to Spring Fair visitors directly on the Dutch Creative Brands stand, with the opportunity to experience a taste of wine being offered on a very select basis.

Joe has also agreed to conduct an informal ‘meet and greet experience’ on the Housewares LIVE stand in Hall 9 (E80) on Monday from 12.30pm to 1pm. He promises to let the audience into some of the secrets behind the filming of ‘The Wine Show’, and explain how the Vacu Vin wine accessories and gadgets made it through the selection process to formulate The Wine Show collection. He will also invite a lucky few in the front row to experience samples of wine that he has hand-selected.
