Salter chose this week’s Exclusively Housewares show to announce the three winners of its window competition, launched to help the company celebrate its 250th birthday this year.

Cheltenham Kitchener won for what the judges called “a fantastically creative use of props, celebrating the Let them Eat Cake theme with true integrity”.
Cookmate in Worcester also impressed the judges, who said: “Baking every single cake from the recipe cards provided, with great style, and dressing the window beautifully, was a winning combination.”
At W Gibb Stuart, Bridge of Weir, the judges also “loved the use of colour coordination and skilled window dressing, creating an eye-catching display”.
Each outlet won a three-day break in Bordeaux.
