ICTC has been announced as the UK distributor of the Finum brand of tea and coffee accessories and French knife brand Opinel.
Part of the Riensch & Held family, with a history dating back to 1845, Finum’s product range comprises drinkware with filtering components for both tea and coffee. The company, which describes itself as a world leader in the manufacturing of biodegradable tea filters, holds Red Dot accolades.
ICTC sales director Ruth Cutter said: “Finum is the ideal addition to ICTC’s existing range; smart, contemporary and delivering outstanding products that always keep the customers’ needs in mind.”
ICTC is also taking on distributorship of French knife brand Opinel in the UK. Handmade in Chambéry Savoie since 1890, Opinel knives have “a long tradition of simplicity, reliability and efficiency,” ICTC says. Opinel sources 95% of the timber it uses from French farms, reducing environmental impact and boosting the local economy.
Ruth said: “We’re really pleased to add Opinel to the ICTC fold; the products fill an important gap in our catalogue, allowing us to cater for every kitchen need – and the brand quality speaks for itself.”
