Jersey Pottery and Brewed by Hand are the latest companies to become members of BHETA (British Home Enhancement Trade Association).
Jersey Pottery was established 70 years ago and has grown to become a designer and manufacturer supplying ceramics and giftware to over 700 retailers in 30 countries. The firm, which also includes a large hospitality and leisure business, employs more than 200 people.
Jersey Pottery has its origins, and is headquartered, in Jersey: the largest of the Channel Islands, between England and France. But its European manufacturing and fulfilment facility is located in Lincolnshire. It also distributes in North America through Jersey Pottery USA Inc., which is based in New York.
Brewed by Hand is the exclusive distributor for the UK and the Republic of Ireland of the Hario and Loveramics brands, which, it says, are ‘‘best in class’ and can be seen in the finest cafes, restaurants, hotels and stores throughout the world’.
Hario makes equipment for manual brewing of tea and coffee while Loveramics is committed to developing ceramic coffee cups, teapots and dinner plates to cater for different cuisines worldwide.
BHETA housewares sector director Will Jones commented: “BHETA now represents such a variety of products, categories and channels – and we really do provide an extraordinary range of industry and sector insights which are invaluable for suppliers and retailers alike. It’s great to welcome some great new tabletop brands to BHETA.”
