What More appoints in-house lawyer

Tom O’Neill will be responsible for all of company’s legal requirements, including property matters, distribution and exclusivity agreements, copyright, trademark and design protection and day-to-day commercial activities.

“From the customer’s point of view a company with an in-house lawyer has a great advantage,” said O’Neill, “because agreements and contracts can be negotiated and concluded directly with customers, rather than having to instruct an external law firm. It’s so much quicker.”

Lancashire-based What More now employs 162 people.
