Staff at What More UK raised a substantial amount for Children in Need on Friday by adopting an unusually relaxed attitude to their appearance.

What More raises almost £3k for Children In Need

Around 20 employees of the Lancashire-based company ditched their usual work attire and donned pyjamas for the day to support the BBC’s annual appeal. Their sponsorship efforts have raised over £2,900.

Sales office manager Jennifer Westwood, who organised the event, said: “As a company we’ve undertaken various charity events in the past, and this year we decided to support Children in Need. I think this is a record for the amount of people in the company taking part and it’s been great fun coming to work in our pyjamas. Our IT manager even went one step further and dressed as Pudsey for the day!”

Meanwhile, What More’s manufacturing site also took part in the fundraising by collecting old mobile phones.
