What More UK has taken delivery of their latest consignment of machinery. Earlier this year the firm announced it will be investing £20 million in its Altham manufacturing site and this equipment represents a sizable part of that investment.
The machines have now arrived and been installed in the company’s state of the art production facility in Accrington.
Company Director Tony Grimshaw said: “This is a good day for What More and for the wider manufacturing sector. With the arrival of these machines, we’re securing our future and declaring confidence in British manufacturing.”
“It’s also a great opportunity for our engineering apprentices to gain experience working with and helping maintain the latest machinery under the supervision of our more experienced staff.”
These machines are part of the company’s strategy of continual investment in people, plant, and estate. It’s a strategy that will see the firm grow its factory space by 200,000 square feet which will help satisfy the strong demand for their products.
