What More’s export success recognised again

The Burnley-based plastic homewares manufacturer What More UK has been recognised for its outstanding growth in export sales.

What More's export success recognised again

The company has received the Outstanding Exporter Achievement award from the East Lancashire Chamber of Commerce.

The accolade is not the first to recognise What More’s success in overseas markets. The company picked up the Export Achievement Award at the regional Business & Innovations Awards earlier this year, and has also been shortlisted for the Queens Award for Enterprise in the International Sales category.

The company is attacking overseas markets so effectively that January 2012 will see its first container-load of products set sail to China -better known as an exporter itself of such products.

“Exporting our products to China is a big step forward for the company,” commented director Tony Grimshaw. “The quality of the goods we manufacture is outstanding and we’re now selling to over 40 countries, with Singapore and Malaysia placing orders soon.”
