Which? names best and worst small appliance brands

The September issue of ‘Which?’ consumer magazine reveals ‘the small appliance brands that you can reply on,’ following a survey of more than 12,000 owners.

In May, 12,617 Which? members completed the study asking them about the small appliances they own, and faulty ones they’ve replaced.

The best brands overall were chosen by combining reliability, customer scores, test performance and total test scores.

The best brand overall for kettles was Bosch; while Magimix was the best for coffee machines; Dualit for toasters, Panasonic for breadmakers; Magimix for food processors; Tefal for irons; and Kenwood and KitchenAid for stand mixers.

‘Which?’ said: “It pays to invest in a decent product, as major brands top the tables for both customer satisfaction and reliability.”
