Whitford Worldwide promotes Anne Willis to president and ceo role

Non-stick and decorative coatings manufacturer Whitford Worldwide has announced a change in its management structure.

Anne Willis has been promoted to president and chief executive officer of the company. She has been Whitford’s manager of Europe for the past 24 years, as well as head of the global management team.

Dave Willis, founder and president of Whitford for 50 years, moves to chairman of the board.

Dave Willis said: “I’m about to turn 80, and it was time for the next logical step in the company’s growth.

“Anne has proven her talents in the tough European markets, and I have every confidence that she is more than ready for the increased responsibilities.

“She is now in charge of the business, so I can work fewer hours and cut my travel schedule way back. Nevertheless, I will be available to consult with Anne whenever she wishes.”

Anne Willis added: “I’ve got quite an act to follow but given the worldwide management team we have in place, and the new technologies we’re announcing, I have no doubt we will continue the remarkable growth that Whitford has enjoyed for many years.”

Whitford claims to manufacture the largest, most complete line of fluoropolymer coatings (non-stick and decorative) for industrial and consumer industries in the world.

The company has 10 manufacturing sites in eight major markets globally, as well as 11 offices and agents in other markets.
