Winners of the ‘Which?’ Awards 2013 revealed

The ‘Which?’ Awards 2013, which celebrates the UK’s best businesses, were presented yesterday in London.

The seventh annual awards were co-hosted by TV presenter Natasha Kaplinsky and ‘Which?’ Chief Executive Peter Vicary-Smith.

This year, John Lewis was declared as Best Retailer. Consumer magazine ‘Which?’ said:’Its impressive range, both in-store and online, plus its customer feeback, makes it a true retail champion.’

Bosch was named Best Home Appliance Brand, and Aldi was announced as Best Supermarket for its range of Best Buys, quality food and good pricing.

Other winners were Skoda (Best Car Manufacturer), Samsung (Best Computing Brand), LG (Best Audio-Visual Brand), NFU Mutual (Best Financial Services Provider),
Tesco Mobile (Best Telecom Services Provider), Panasonic (Best Photography Brand) and Amazon (Best Customer Care) for its ‘great customer feedback and excellent service’.

Feedback from ‘Which?’ members saw the Hampstead & Highgate Heating & Plumbing Company, based in Enfield, claim Which? Local Business of the Year. Delifonseca in Liverpool was declared The Good Food Guide Readers’ Restaurant of the Year.

‘Which?’ chief executive, Peter Vicary-Smith, said: “In these tough economic times, it’s fantastic that there are companies who still go the extra mile for their customers to provide good quality service and value for money products. Being recognised by ‘Which?’ is not just a mark of excellence, it can boost business.”
