‘Exceptional’ Ambiente trade show for What More UK

What More UK’s international sales team has returned home from Germany feeling excited following a successful overseas trade show for the housewares supplier.

The team attended Ambiente in Frankfurt last week and What More UK director Tony Grimshaw OBE said the event was “exceptional for us – easily the best international show we’ve attended to date.

“The amount of orders we took on the stand beat that of any previous year, hands down. We welcomed around 250 visitors from over 83 countries.”

Every spring Ambiente attracts more than 134,000 buyers from over 150 countries. This year What More UK increased the size of its exhibition stand by 15% to accommodate its growing product ranges.

The Lancashire-based business already exports its products to 71 countries worldwide and hopes to sign up more international customers following the interest generated at Ambiente.

What More UK is a leading manufacturer of plasticware. It has a portfolio of more than 850 products comprising plastic housewares, gardening and DIY products sold under the Wham brand, manufactured at its 500,000 sq ft purpose-built facility in Altham.

In 2014 the business diversified into bakeware and today produces a range of Wham Cook non-stick and vitreous enamel bakeware. It also owns the award-winning PushPan brand bakeware range.
