2012 Bake Off winner launches book

The first hardback by The Great British Bake Off 2012 winner hit bookstands yesterday.

‘John Whaites Bakes: Recipes for Every Day and Every Mood’ is published by Headline.

‘I’m thrilled to be working with Headline,” John said. “I’ve had an obsession with baking since I was a tiny tot and having my own cookery book has always been a dream of mine. I feel very lucky to have the opportunity to express my passion to the whole of the UK.”

John became a firm favourite amongst viewers from early on in BBC2’s ‘The Great British Bake Off’ series, showcasing a natural flair and creative approach to baking which is reflected in his book.

He will be signing copies of his new book at Selfridges in Manchester Trafford and Waterstones in Wigan tomorrow.
