The January/February issue of Housewares Magazine is available to read now!

hw jan feb New issue of Housewares out now!

It’s a wrap for the first two trade shows of the year with Ambiente and Spring Fair closing on a high. It was great to see a lot of first-time exhibitors at both events and it is a true testament to the value trade shows have to offer. The Housewares team were busy meeting with exhibitors and witnessing the creativity and innovation within the sector. Following inspiration from both shows, we have featured an array of forward-thinking housewares companies for this issue. Whether it’s the product development of Dexam’s cookware range or Brabantia’s goal for 100% circular design by 2035, every business is focused on implementing practices now which will prove beneficial in the future.

Elsewhere in this issue we put the focus on retailers with Source Fashion and Source Home & Gift’s Top 10 Retail Predictions report providing an overview of trends and market insights for the new year. You’ll also find a great interview with La Cookshop owner, Keith Crowther who highlighted how the retail industry is not “all doom and gloom” as we’re led to believe. Since it was established in 1994, La Cookshop has gone from strength to strength and Crowther tells us how the business continues to evolve.

In even more positive news, we have received amazing feedback for this year’s edition of the Housewares Awards. In light of the response from the industry, we have decided to extend the deadline for entries to Monday 26th February so don’t miss out on the opportunity to put yourself in the running to receive the ultimate accolade. We’re also delighted to welcome Meyer as our brand-new sponsor for 2024! As the UK’s largest supplier of kitchenware, Meyer prioritises innovation, passion and the people at the heart of the business, all values which align with the focus of the Housewares Awards. We’re honoured to have Meyer on board and the continued support from the industry.

We hope you enjoy the issue!
