The Gluggle Jug Factory has joined the British Home Enhancement Trade Association (BHETA).

Based in Stoke-on-Trent, The Gluggle Jug Factory manufactures the original Gluggle Jug – the distinctive fish-shaped ceramic jug that has become an icon of British tableware and giftware.

With a history spanning more than 150 years, the company continues to produce its ceramic products in the heart of the UK’s pottery industry, combining traditional manufacturing techniques with skilled craftsmanship.

The Gluggle Jug is recognised for its distinctive design and characteristic “glugging” sound when pouring, making it popular as both a functional piece of tableware and a decorative home accessory.

BHETA said the addition of The Gluggle Jug Factory further strengthens its representation of established brands within the housewares sector, with members benefiting from market insight, networking opportunities and industry support.

The association added that it continues to expand its membership across the home enhancement and housewares industries, providing businesses with a platform to share expertise and navigate the opportunities and challenges facing the sector.
