Bents Garden & Home is set to host an outdoor artisan market for the first time, bringing more than 60 independent traders to the Warrington retailer.
The family-owned garden and home retailer will team up with Independent Street for the event, which will take place on September 10 from 10am until 4pm.
Independent Street already operates artisan markets across the Warrington area, including in Birchwood, Culcheth and Great Sankey.
All available trading spaces for the Bents event have already been booked, with more than 60 vendors expected to take part.
Visitors will be able to browse a wide range of independent businesses, with stalls offering food and drink, homemade cakes and confectionery, handcrafted jewellery and other locally made products.
Live music will also feature throughout the day, while a selection of street food traders will be on site. Entry to the market will be free.
Lisa Cowley from Independent Street said the market would complement the existing retail and leisure offering at Bents.
“We are so excited to be working with Bents Garden & Home,” she said.
“Our Artisan Market will be a great addition to the already fabulous offering inside of Bents. It will be an event for the local neighbourhood; a chance for residents to come together.”
Matthew Bent, Managing Director at Bents Garden & Home, said the event would provide an opportunity to showcase local independent businesses while attracting both existing and new customers to the centre.
