A new face at Meyer

The Meyer Group has announced the appointment of Claire Whalley-Livesey as sales director.

Meyer chairman and managing director Mark Ivory commented: “Claire joins us at a particularly exciting time as Meyer expands its leadership position in gourmet cookware and invests further across its kitchenware brand portfolio, providing a full service proposition for our customers.

The Meyer Group said: ‘Claire brings with her impressive brand and private label commercial expertise, having worked across a number of non-food categories throughout her career. She drove sales and category performance at [private label household products company ]McBride, and more recently for Baylis & Harding [known for their luxurious line of fragranced bathroom products] both in the UK and mainland Europe, as part of their senior executive teams. We look forward to Claire driving our commercial strategy and working closely with our customers to support continued growth across the kitchenware category.’
