Housewares Business-to-business magazine for housewares retailers and their suppliers
The coffee equipment specialist aerolatte UK is among the latest housewares companies to declare its support for the industry charity the Rainy Day Trust (RDT), by signing up as a Trust partner.
Aerolatte director Alan Green said: “I’d not really thought much about mixing charity and work, but then I heard about a couple of difficult situations and the efforts of the RDT and was inspired to get involved. We particularly like that it has a broad support and the fund-raising efforts are shared. And if us joining and supporting the RDT encourages others, then that’s great.”
Aerolatte started up with a single product, the battery-powered milk frother, but has since expanded its range to include cafetieres, espresso makers and coffee accessories.
The Rainy Day Trust, founded in 1843, provides financial and other support for everyone working in or who has worked in the home improvement and housewares industry in any capacity, and who now finds that they need a helping hand.
