The Aladdin Bento lunch box from Pacific Market International has been awarded a prestigious Red Dot product design award.
The product was also honoured earlier this year with the iF product design award and the Design Plus award.
The Bento makes it possible to pack food in a practical and stylish way. The double-wall foam insulation keeps food hot or cold for up to five hours. In addition, multiple Bento boxes can be combined through an align-and-rotate locking system.
The box comes in 3 and 6 litre sizes and can also be purchased in a .95 litre combination. The 6 litre version has a removable divider which allows transporting two meals separately from each other within the same box.
The Bento is both leakproof and microwave safe, and retail price of the 6 litre box is around £10.99.
Products entered for the international Red Dot awards are judged on innovation, functionality, design quality, ergonomics, symbolic and emotional value.
