Creative Tops celebrates the splendour of Kew

Creative Tops, in partnership with The Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, will use Exclusively Housewares to launch a new coordinated collection using images of historical botanical prints and architecture taken from the Kew archives.

The collection includes fine bone china mugs, fine china tableware and oven-to-tableware.

The floral range features botanical drawings from one of the world’s most respected botanical artists, Pierre-Joseph Redouté, and uses the most popular species of flower to encourage consumers to build up a collection. Each mug is available in a gift box with swing tag.

With an eye to the popularity of grow-your-own food, there is also a range featuring images by botanical artist Ernst Benary, who created colour plate illustrations of vegetable varieties.

This range comprises plates, fine china mugs, pasta bowls and oven-to-tableware.

Creative Tops has also created a range of products featuring some of Kew’s most stunning buildings, including the iconic Kew pagoda.

Kew imposes high standards on those wishing to use its historical imagery. “We only partner with the very best companies in their field and Creative Tops stood out from the competition,” says Quincy Leon, Kew’s head of licensing. “The quality of decal was extremely important to us and Creative Tops were able to produce high quality decals across an extensive coordinated range”.
