Amefa says last month’s Spring Fair gave the company a chance to introduce retailers to the people behind last October’s takeover of Richardson Sheffield, and to the new product proposition.
Managing director Martin Russell says clarity was the key objective of the show.
“Since the takeover, we’ve reviewed our portfolio,” he reports. “Our significant kitchen knife range, including brands such as Balance, Gripi and V Sabatier, will be clearly branded Richardson Sheffield – thus capitalising on the brand’s heritage of quality, tradition, design expertise and its large and loyal customer base.
“The existing Richardson Sheffield cutlery will come under the Amefa brand umbrella, and our large cutlery brands such as So.eat, Dine, Monogram and Couzon will be further developed and maintained.”
He says the resulting offer means that Amefa has a range of knives and cutlery to suit every price point and both casual and formal dining.
Meanwhile, Amefa is now operating solely from Richardson Sheffield’s Sheffield site. The address is Lion Works, 15 Orgreave Drive, Handsworth, Sheffield S13 9NR, tel 0844 5553234, email sales@amefa.co.uk. The website is amefa.co.uk.
