Asbestos tea maker is recalled

An electric tea maker has been recalled after it was found to pose a chemical danger.
The FMS-branded Semaver product, EAN: 8698636330879, contains easily-accessible asbestos used as heat insulation. The product, which is made in Turkey, does not comply with the REACH regulation.

The three-part tea maker consists of an electrical heater, a pot for boiling water and a teapot. Both containers are made from chrome-plated metal with blue plastic handles.
