Two Christmas specials of hit BBC One show ‘The Great British Bake Off’ will be broadcast in December, before the programme moves to Channel 4.
In the episodes, four bakers from previous series will take part in three seasonal challenges.
Co-judges Paul Hollywood and Mary Berry will continue to preside over the competition, once again presented by Sue Perkins and Mel Giedroyc.
BBC director of content Charlotte Moore said: “Mary, Paul, Mel and Sue are the perfect recipe for the festive season.”
The shows will replace the Bake Off Masterclass programmes.
The first Bake Off programming planned to broadcast on Channel 4 will be a celebrity version of the show in 2017, in aid of Stand Up to Cancer.
