Eddingtons had an extra reason to celebrate the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee when it totted up its baking-related sales recently.
In the months leading up to the Royal Jubilee, the kitchenware distributor sold more than 7,000 crown-shaped cookie cutters, over 9,600 Union Jack cupcake stands and over 37,000 packs of union jack cupcake cases.
“That equates to over 2.5 million cupcakes baked in our cases – now that’s something to celebrate!” said Eddingtons marketing manager Sonia Spencer.
