BBC Good Food Show confirms celebrity line-up for new event

River Street Events, the organiser of the BBC Good Food Shows, has announced the launch of a new Spring Show, in the North Yorkshire spa town of Harrogate. The newly confirmed line-up for the event consists of Mary Berry, John Torode, James Martin, The Hairy Bikers, Shellina Permalloo and Dhruv Baker.

The Show, which will be held at the Harrogate International Centre from April 25-27, will follow the format of the established event that takes place in Scotland, London and Birmingham.

Features include The Supertheatre, which is co-sponsored by Lakeland. The 950-seater performance hall and theatre will occupy the Edwardian grade II listed Royal Hall. Built in 1903, it will contrast with the pop-up theatres seen at the other shows. The Supertheatre will host live cooking sessions from chefs and experts, including James Martin, Mary Berry and The Hairy Bikers.

The BBC Good Food Bakes & Cakes Village will offer an array of gifts and housewares to inspire visitors to bake like the experts, plus advice from top baking and cake crafting enthusiasts and specialists.

Meanwhile, the Interview Stage is billed as the place for visitors to ‘discover the secrets of our experts’ success’ Free Q&A sessions will take place, giving visitors the opportunity to quiz the stars of the show.

Finally, The Producers’ Village is a speciality food market at the heart of the show, packed with small independent artisan producers. It includes a ‘Deliciously Yorkshire’ section, focused on producers local to the area.
