BHETA to hold Exclusively Shows briefing forum for exhibitors

The British Home Enhancement Trade Association (BHETA) plans to host a half day briefing forum for members planning to exhibit at this year’s Exclusively Housewares and Exclusively Electrical Shows.

The briefing will take place on March 1 at BHETA HQ at Federation House on Vyse Street in Birmingham.

Exclusively Housewares and Exclusively Electrical are annual co-located trade exhibitions that will be held on June 12 and June 13 at the Business Design Centre in London.

Speakers will include the Shows’ operations director Simon Boyd, who will discuss several new features for the 2018 Shows; Phil Pond, director of consumer & design insights for trend forecasting agency Scarlet Opus; and Pam Ballone of PBM Marketing and Public Relations, who is handling marketing and PR for the Shows.

BHETA said: ‘The briefing will include an ‘exhibitor masterclass’ enabling exhibitors to get the best out of their presence at the show through product demonstrations, product trails and product displays.’

BHETA housewares sector director Will Jones commented: “Having established a reputation for predicting commercial opportunities for the year ahead, the Exclusively Shows are a very exciting opportunity for suppliers, retailers and opinion formers.

“The briefing forum is aimed at those wishing to find out more about upcoming trends in the housewares and small electricals retail market – and how they can be used to enhance [exhibitors’] presence. It will also be a great introduction to the Shows for first time exhibitors, with the Exclusively team on hand to answer questions and offer advice.”

Companies interested in attending the briefing should contact Will Jones on wj@bheta.co.uk or the BHETA member services team on 0121 237 1130.
