BHETA welcomes Luba Distribution and Planit Products

Luba Distribution and Planit Products are the latest housewares companies to join the British Home Enhancement Trade Association (BHETA).

Luba Distribution in Germany is an EU-wide distributor for over 1,000 small domestic appliances. One of its key brands is Blendtec: a professional blender, now adapted for retail. The four product lines are Blendtec Classic 575 (available in six colours), Designer 625 (available in seven colours), Designer 725 (available in two colours), and Professional 800 (available in black).

Malvern-based Planit Products is a manufacturer of housewares products including resusable toastabags, described as a way of making a toasted sandwich in your toaster with no fuss and no mess.

Managing director Guy Unwin came up with the idea for toastabags – the firm’s original and best-selling item – over 10 years ago. The user simply makes a sandwich, places it in the toastabag and pops the bag in the toaster.

Planit Products also manufactures products such as quickasteam microwave steam bags, quickachips and oven liners.

Commenting on the latest housewares companies to join BHETA, executive director for housewares Will Jones said: “It’s great to see yet more famous brands in the BHETA community and I look forward to welcoming both teams to future BHETA events. It’s also great to see that both companies will also be exhibiting at Exclusively Housewares & Exclusively Electrical, which offers them the ideal platform to present their products to the leading players in the housewares market.”
