The British Retail Consortium (BRC) Training Academy is to launch a Retail Managers’ Development Programme this September.

BRC to launch retail managers development programme

A survey of the BRC’s retail members revealed that many agreed that there is a real need for the provision of development and training for store managers and supervisors.

A comprehensive programme will be delivered over a period of a year. Divided into three three-day modules, it will cover topics such as organisational culture, behavioural preferences and the behaviour of others, with a strong emphasis on experimental learning. Exercises and simulations will help delegates to practice their new skills and they will be encouraged to share their experiences with colleagues.

Further details of the programme can be found at www.brctrainingacademy.com.

The British Retail Consortium (BRC) is a retail trade association that represents the full range of retailers, large and small, multiples and independents, food and non-food, online and store based.
