Bruce Crane, the ex-MD of housewares distributor ICTC, has launched a new distribution company.
TICCuk Ltd is based in the Norfolk village of Ashwellthorpe. Bruce is finalising arrangements with a number of brand owners with a view to launching his new venture at the Autumn Fair in September.
Bruce said: “I’m really looking forward to being back in distribution, and excited about the opportunities I see ahead for the company.”
TICCuk Ltd will focus on importing and distributing ranges “that are aimed at the heart of a good cookshop’s offer,” he said.
Proving basket for bread bakers (Bannetons) are the first of his range introductions, with stock expected into the UK this week. Made out of 100% natural fibre, they are “highly efficient and green too,” Bruce says.

Bruce Crane joined kitchenware and tabletop supplier ICTC in 2008 but was made redundant in his role as managing director of the company at the end of February.
He was also, and remains, the owner of Loose’s Cookshop in Norwich, which is a silver winner in the Housewares Retail Innovation Awards 2012, organised by www.HousewaresLive.net and Housewares Magazine.
