David Shuttle holds ball to mark decade of trading

The David Shuttle cookshop is marking 10 years of trading in Princes Risborough this year, and held a black tie Caribbean Ball last Saturday to celebrate the milestone.

Held in a marquee in the grounds of a home lent by a customer, the ball attracted over 100 people and helped raised funds for Air Ambulance.

“It was absolutely brilliant,” Mary Shuttle told HousewaresLive.net. “We had the weather and we had the fun. We had the Air Ambulance there, staff, customers galore and many, many friends.”

Suppliers to the cookshop donated merchandise, which was auctioned and raffled to help the fund-raising efforts.

“Everyone was more than generous. I cannot thank the suppliers enough,” Shuttle added.

Suppliers have also supported the 2009 calendar which the cookshop has produced, again with proceeds to Air Ambulance.

And the celebrations continue at David Shuttle this week, with two champagne and canapé events at the Princes Risborough shop to celebrate the branch’s decade in business and to launch the calendar.
