David Mason Design won the accolade of Best Display Stand at this year’s Home Hardware autumn trade show.
The achievement earned Rachel Walker, DMD account manager, and Steven Hubbard, warehouse despatch, a cash prize of £100 and a framed certificate. Eddingtons received the runner-up prize of £50.
One hundred and twenty exhibitors attended the show at Westpoint Exhibition Centre, Exeter.
The judges agreed that the DMD stand had outstanding all-round visual impact with excellent colour coordination, well-lit products and employed good use of point of sale.
Executive chairman of Home Hardware John Fewings said: “In this current climate, it’s even more important that suppliers take a pride in their stands at our trade show, if they’re to attract retailers to their stands. It’s clear that retailers are drawn to well-merchandised, clearly-priced displays, and this is reflected in increased sales.”
