Dunelm has announced its Non-Executive Director, Arja Taaveniku, will step down from her position at the end of the year.
Ms Taaveniku will move to Home Centre in a Chief Executive position; Home Centre is a home furnishings company in the Middle East.
Alison Brittain, Dunelm Chair, said: “On behalf of the board, I would like to thank Arja for the valuable contribution she has made to the company over the last three years. We have initiated a search for a new independent non-executive director and will provide an update on this process in due course.”
Having joined the Dunelm board in 2021, Taaveniku is a former Chief offer and supply chain officer of Kingfisher and has also previously worked with Ikea Group for many years.
Dunelm has now commenced a search for replacement.
