Online marketplace eBay has forecast that Sunday November 30 will be its busiest shopping day of 2014 in the UK.

Hot on the heels of ‘Black Friday’ and landing the day prior to ‘Cyber Monday’, ‘Super Sunday’ is predicted to see site traffic soar as more than 7 million Brits head to ebay.co.uk over 24 hours.
With over 104,000 deals available on site, ebay.co.uk estimates that 1,800 gifts will be purchased per minute from a selection of over 800 million items, worldwide The site is expected to reach fever pitch between 20:00-21:00 GMT.
eBay said: ‘Customers on the virtual high street will be able to select from unique treasures to brand new ‘buy it now’ items to make December 25 extra special. Visitors can shop from over 200,000 businesses across the UK, ranging from independent sellers to big name brands. Many will also seek the ultimate convenience of choosing ‘Click & Collect’ from their sofa, with over 65,000 sellers on ebay.co.uk now offering the service across 650 Argos stores, nationwide.’
